  • Senior Practitioners

The service is supported by a range of services which will have strategic oversight. The Prevention & Support Service is based on a team around the family approach with designated lead professionals responsible for co-ordination of case work.

The Troubled Families programme is a government initiative to reduce the £9 billion spent annually on an estimated 120,000 of the most troubled families nationally.

The programme uses a multi-agency approach in developing new ways of working with the families to:

  • improve outcomes for the families
  • reduce costs for the agencies
