SEND Local Offer
What is a Local Offer? A Local Offer gives children and young people in the borough, who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) and/or a disability, information in one place. The Thurrock Local Offer aims to provide clear, comprehensive and accessible information about what services and provisions are available in Thurrock for parents and young people.
The local offer is part of the reforms to support children and young people with SEND under the Children and Families Act 2014. You can find out more about the reforms in the Department for Education's guidance:

SEND Preparing for Adulthood - Survey
Message to all our key stakeholders,
Thurrock Council with our partners have had notification today that we will be having an Ofsted/CQC thematic review of our SEND Preparing for Adulthood arrangements, the survey below seeks your views on our partnership approach and services offered to young people as they prepare to transition into adulthood. This is a really important opportunity for you to have your say and let Ofsted/CQC know how you experience these services; your view really matters!
