Dance Point Essex specialisies in offering pre-school and Infant dance & movement classes designed to develop the imagination whilst learning the fundamental basis of dance.  Classes follow The Melody Bear Early Learning Movement and Dance programme, which is a unique syllabus designed for children aged 18 months to 7 years.  Following on from this children take classes following the ISTD ballet syllabus.

The syllabus has been structured alongside the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) classes are tailored to discover and fulfill the potential of each child, by nurturing their creative development and imagination skills, whilst providing a fun and happy atmosphere to learn in.  The concept encourages children to safely learn the basic steps of ballet, music and movement in a way appropriate for the child’s level of physical development.

The stepping stone programme allows children to progress through the Melody Movement levels of learning, whilst gaining in confidence and establishing the required technique need for the ISTD Imperial Ballet exams.

MONDAY @ Tyrrells Hall Club
4.15-4.45pm First Ballet (4-5 years - Reception school age)
4.45-5.15pm - Grade 1 ISTD Ballet (7-9 years)

WEDNESDAY @ Blackshots Leisure centre
Classes run from 11.30-2pm in 30 minute intervals
18 months - 4 years

FRIDAY @ Blackshots Leisure centre
Classes run from 10.30-12.15pm in 30 minute intervals
18 months - 4 years
