South Ockendon Jikishin is a small, friendly club and was established over 15 years ago. We strive to achieve the best personal performance of every student, whatever their ability, in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Our members range from White belt (beginner) to 4th Dan black belts.
Instructor, Sensei Ricky Izod 6th Dan with over 25 years experience, a Senior Coach, An association Judge and Referee, first aid qualified and fully insured with professional and club liability cover, and a member of Sports Coach UK. and UKMAGB. (Please beware of unqualified people claiming to be Ju-Jitsu instructors). Ju-Jitsu is an ideal martial art for self defence and is an excellent way to get fit - beginners can start at any time
