Doves (Developmental Opportunities, Visual Experiences & Support)

We believe that all pre-school children with Vision Impairment should have the best opportunity to develop visual/tactile, social & independence skills.

 

What are Doves?

 Doves are early years' groups run by SEND Specialist Advice and Support

for parents and carers of those babies and pre-school children (0-4 years)

who are supported by the Vision Impairment teams in Essex and Thurrock.

 

When and where?

Sessions will be on the second Monday of term time months, excluding Bank Holidays.

Dates: 9th Sept 2019, 14th October 2019, 11th November 2019, 9th December 2019,

 13th January 2020, 10th February 2020, 9th March 2020, 11th May 2020, 8th June 2020,

13th July 2020

9.30-11.30 am at the

Stanford Children’s Centre, Copland Rd, Stanford-le-Hope, SS17 0DF

 

Who?

 Doves are run by specialist advisory teachers and early years’ specialists with the additional qualification in the education and support of children with Vision Impairment.
