Elite Twirlers - Majorette Troupe
Elite Twirlers is a voluntary organisation formed in 2011. Our trainer Donna Ogles is a qualified United Kingdom Federation of Majorettes (UKFM) Judge and has been twirling for over 25 years and holds many qualifications in Baton and equipment.
We teach children how to twirl batons, flags, ribbons, pom poms, wheels, rifles and maces. They will be taught how to work in a team for group work and also on an individual basis. As a Troupe we are members of the United Kingdom Federation of Majorettes and take part in competitions which lead to a National Event at the end of the majorette year. We also develop their skills by working them towards taking Duke of Edinburgh scheme awards. They may also take part in summer events such as fetes, carnivals or fund raising shows.
All volunteers have been CRB checked. A first aider will be on site during training, displays and competitions.
