Gingerbread is a national charity which supports single parent families to lead secure, happy and fulfilling lives. 

Working Forward Essex is a flexible, personalised programme offering one-to-one support for single parents of any age who aren't in employment.

For some single parents, it can be difficult to get into work for a variety of reasons such as childcare responsibilities, so the programme will provide you with mentoring and one-to-one support to help you develop your confidence, find work that suits you, and even consider starting your own business.

Collectively, the team will offer you training opportunities and work experience supported with free childcare and travel costs.
