We are a busy Ofsted registered full day care setting that caters for children aged 0-5 years. We also have an afterschool club for children up to the age of 11 years.

Our last Ofsted inspection rated us as a GOOD setting.

We are open Monday to Friday, 7am until 7pm.

We have 3 busy and thriving rooms within the nursery as well as a funded preschool room in the premises above.

We have implemented the Curiosity Approach within all of our rooms to ensure the children feel comfortable and secure and experience a home away from home feeling.

We follow the EYFS that allows us to monitor the children’s learning development. Our carefully thought out activities, resources and room layout are based on the child’s needs, wants and interests to ensure they thrive as best they can whilst in our care

Description of Vacancies: 

We currently have a vacancy for a full time a full time Nursery Nurse and an Apprentice.

Applicants for the role of a nursery nurse need to be able to work alongside the team to ensure that we as a setting are providing a high level of professional leadership and management to all staff, ensuring that all children receive the highest possible standards of care and learning opportunities. 

As a nursery nurse, the settings expectations for the role are:

• You will have a knowledge and understanding of the EYFS

• You will be able to effectively implement the Key Person system

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures

• You will be able to build and maintain positive working partnerships with staff, and parents/carers

• You will be able to work together with other staff to provide stimulating and engaging activities for the children within your care.

• To have a good knowledge of safeguarding procedures

• To have a good attendance rate and a professional attitude.

As an apprentice, the setting expectations for the role are:

• To deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0-5 years

• To be willing to learn

• To be flexible

• To be able to work with all age ranges

• To develop practical skills

• Observing the settings policies and procedures

• To work as part of a team

Both of these positions are full time working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am to 7pm.

Qualifications/Experience required:

Minimum requirement of a full and relevant Level 3 early years qualification with experience of working within early years settings for the role of Nursery Nurse.
