SEND Local Offer
Update on The Thurrock SEND Family Forum
The Thurrock Parent Carer Forum has been in development since February 2021.
We have taken the name of Thurrock SEND Family Forum
We have already started to take action within the borough with health, education and social care, with a number of projects and meetings already underway.
We aim to launch ourselves fully in September with a brand-new website!
Please see the below links to help understand what a parent carer forum is, how you can be involved and much more.
Please feel free to contact us on the below emails if you wish to become a working member of the forum, a member of the forum or attend any of our events. (Event diary to be published in September)
Thurrock Council is keen to seek your views and work together with parents and carers to develop this Local Offer; this survey is intended to assist this process of engagement and your answers will help to inform the development of the site. The information we gather will be fed back to Thurrock Council and will assist us to develop the Local Offer further. We would therefore be very grateful if you could spend a few moments to complete this short survey: https://consult.thurrock.gov.uk/local-offer-survey
You can find information on how your feedback has shaped the Local Offer in the Local Offer Annual Report which is published every October
